Gasten was born and raised in Petersburg, TX and studied to be an EMT and Chef before committing to his lifelong love of writing in 2014. He recieved his AAS degree in Screenwriting from the Colorado Film School in 2017. He has experience writing features, shorts, web-series, interactive games, and TV episodes. He also has experience directing, producing, casting, location managing and gripping.
